Ramada by Wyndham Waupaca

I was a little hesitant to stay here after some of the reviews I read, but it was pet friendly and right off the highway very close to restaurants and shops. Pulling up, the outside of the building looked a little run down, but after going inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is under new management, has new, friendly staff, and are doing a great job with updates and cleanliness. The room was nice! It was a good size, clean and set up well. It had a large fridge, TV and microwave. The bar was open until midnight; with reasonably priced drinks, large TV's, a pool table, dart board, juke box and gambling machines. Although the waterslides and hot tub were closed for repairs, the pool was ADULTS ONLY from 11:30 pm-1:30 am! There is a small arcade for the kids. The hot breakfast was very good and served until 10 am. I don't know how long ago those bad reviews were written, but I had a great experience and would definitely stay there again.

I thought it was an awesome time went for my birthday the bar was great, it was very clean, and the night shift lady even asked me if I had a good birthday ! I thought that was Awesome 👍 had a great time thank you!

Breakfast was okay. Few choices, but understandable due to few people staying.

Easy to get to. Right off the hwy exit. Fitness center is a REAL fitness center, not just one room with a machine. Weights, machines, Yoga room, tanning bed.

The facilities had a lot to offer. The rooms were nice and well kept. The gym facility was excellent and lot of amenities for families!
